What should I wear?

Your prep guide will include detailed outfit suggestions and styling tips to help you feel prepared. I recommend bringing a few different looks for variety...casual, dressy, and something that feels most like you. Confidence photographs best, so choose pieces you feel great in.

Where will my session be?

The prep guide also includes a curated list of location ideas. After years of photographing seniors in and around Madison, I have no shortage of beautiful spots to recommend. If there’s a location that feels special to you, let me know. I’m always open to new ideas. Anywhere within 50 miles of Madison is absolutely doable.

What happens if the weather is bad?

I typically wait until a few hours before your shoot is scheduled to make the call due to weather. We all know how Wisconsin weather can be! If we are unable to shoot, we will reschedule for another day.

How will I know what to do?

I’ll guide you every step of the way, from how to pose and where to look to those natural, effortless smiles. I pay close attention to the details, adjusting hair and small touches so everything looks just right. All you need to do is relax, have fun, and trust the process.

When will I see my pictures?

After your session, we’ll get your Image Reveal on the calendar for about two weeks later. You’ll also receive a sneak peek on Instagram within 24 hours so you have something fun to share right away.

At your reveal, you’ll select your digital images and design any wall art or albums. Be sure anyone involved in the final decisions plans to join you.

Do you offer printed products?

Absolutely. I offer heirloom-quality wall art and custom albums so your images don’t just live on a screen. These pieces are professionally crafted and designed to be enjoyed for years to come.

When do I pay?

A non-refundable 50% retainer is required to reserve your session date and time. The remaining session balance is due by the day of your session. 

Print products, including wall art and albums, are selected at your Image Reveal appointment and are paid in full at that time.

I accept cash, all major credit cards, and PayPal Credit as forms of payment.

What can I do with my included digitals?

Your digital images are printable up to 8x10, so you can print, share, and enjoy them to your heart’s delight. Post them, frame them, gift them...they’re yours to celebrate.

For larger wall art or albums, I offer professional products through the studio to guarantee the very best quality.

Do you offer hair and makeup?

Yes!  You can book hair and makeup with my amazing artist when booking your shoot.  Keep in mind, that will bump your session time up about 90 minutes.

Can I bring my pet?

Of course! I love incorporating pets into senior sessions. I do recommend bringing someone along to help manage them and take them home once we’ve finished their portion of the shoot. That way we can keep the session relaxed and focused.
